I joined Balance Company Group in 2016 and played a central role in building the technology foundation that supported the organization's expansion from a single location into a multi-brand group operating Fitness Factory, Vivafit, Balance, Balance Pilates, FT30, Personal20, VEO, Beat and Impact, with more than 70 locations across Portugal, Spain and India, supporting over 1,000 employees and approximately 170,000 monthly users.
I define and execute the group's technology strategy while remaining closely involved in key initiatives. I designed and developed the group's internal operations platform, centralizing ticketing, projects, lead management and recruitment, while building a centralized lead management platform processing around 1,000 leads daily.
I architect and manage the group's hybrid infrastructure, spanning cloud, virtualization, cybersecurity, disaster recovery and enterprise networking. I lead the standardization of networking, surveillance and access control across all locations.

During my time in London, I worked as an independent Technology Consultant, collaborating directly with clients and as a subcontractor for agencies and established companies. I designed, implemented and maintained enterprise IT infrastructure, servers, networking, hosting environments, cybersecurity solutions and web platforms, while delivering large-scale networking, wireless infrastructure, CCTV and access control projects. Managing projects from planning and implementation through long-term support allowed me to deliver reliable, secure and scalable technology solutions across a wide range of industries.

Shortly after finishing high school and while completing my Computer Engineering degree, I founded a freelance technology business delivering websites, hosting environments and IT solutions for businesses across a wide range of industries. As the business grew, so did the scope of my work, expanding into server administration, networking, infrastructure, hardware deployment, technical support and business consulting. Working directly with clients from initial requirements through implementation and long-term support laid the technical foundation that continues to shape my approach to solving business problems today.
